Things to do

My surgery is next week and I am planning to be bored, bored, and miserable. I need suggestions. Movies, books, internet games. I would like to see movies I have never seen and overall I would like them to be somewhat light in subject matter. Please no "When A Man Loves a Women.' Also nothing to violent or guyish. Just for few ideas: I love Sliding Doors. I just saw Dan In Real Life, that was a nice little movie. I enjoy a good documentary. PLEASE, any suggestions.
What else can I do? I am really not looking forward to this.

I need some advice from my full-time moms. Besides nurturing and loving your children, what do you do all day?

  1. You could clean your bathroom, wash diapers, prepare dinner, mow the lawn, sew curtains, or just lay around like I do!

We could bring you lunch and entertain you!

  2. Movies on my netflix queue that would warrant "light": My Best Friends Girl (which was okay), House Bunny (next in line, so stupid looking but I love Anna Farris), the BBC Pride & Prejudice mini series (because I loooove Colin Firth), Made of Honor (because Dempsey is nice to look at) and Tootsie (because I've never seen it). I also recently watched Flashdance - that's some good cheesy fun. Loved it.

  3. Laundry, dishes, naps...
"Son of Rambow" is a good one.

  4. I hope everything goes okay with the procedure - I think it's today. Hopefully - free and clear breathing is in your future!!
