My dear friend and fellow blogger, Denae, welcomed Lotus Katzoff to the world yesterday. Lotus shares her birthday with Emily Dickinson, Susan Dey of The Partridge Family (and LA Law), and most importantly, teenage hearthrob Jake Ryan (Michael Schoeffling).

Oh AND she shares a birthday with Emily Dickenson... that makes me so happy. She wrote one of my favorite poems.
